Michael W. Johnston is the founding partner of Johnston Legal Group PC. He graduated with honors from Trinity University and Baylor
Law School where he was an associate editor of the Baylor Law Review.
For over four decades, Mr. Johnston has been a civil litigator
concentrating his practice in insurance, consumer, personal injury, and commercial litigation. In 1997, Mr. Johnston was inducted
into the Who's Who of American Lawyers.
He is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, as well as a Fellow of
the Texas Bar Foundation. He is licensed to practice before state courts in Texas and Oklahoma, the United States Court of Claims,
and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas. He is a member of the
State Bar of Texas, Tarrant County Bar Association, American Association of Insurance Consultants as well as many other law
related organizations. Mr. Johnston has received many law related recognitions, including being designated as a Texas "Super Lawyer"

Elizabeth Smid graduated magna cum laude from Baylor University, where she
was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa Academic Society. She then graduated cum laude from Texas Wesleyan
University School of Law, now known as Texas A&M School of Law, where she was a member of the Moot
Court Honor Society.
She has practiced for over a decade and is
now a partner with the firm. She handles
civil commercial matters representing insurance companies and financial institutions. She serves
our institutional clients, individuals, and self-insureds in large personal injury, consumer,
commercial, and products liability cases.
Ms. Smid has been honored as a "Best Attorney" by Fort Worth
